about

Recorded w/ bigFoLK over the course of 2 years (we only practice quarterly, so we didn't spend THAT much time on it).

lyrics

She climbed to the top of the mountain, to see where she should go.
Her eyes were tired, her soul so weary, but she tried not to let it show.
She stood up tall as she looked out over the mist.
Her eyes grew wide and she began to smile as if she could disappear.

I couldn't tell if it was hope or sadness that drove her.
She never made her intentions all that clear.
She was the searcher I'd always imagined myself to be,
She always managed to look, so much deeper than me.
And she says,
"There must be something out there more than this..."
She says,
"There must be something out there more than this..."

She says, "I'm broken down, been torn into, I'm all washed up, I've been abused, and ain't found nothing more than this."
She says, "I keep on fighting and I keep on pushing, and I'm tearing, wearing, my head to the ground,"
"and I know there's something."

Climb that mountain, Move on up. There is something.
